Care Groups & Events Participation Policy

Care Groups & Events Participation Policy

Effective Date: March 8, 2026
Last Updated: May 27, 2026

Set Apart Sisters may offer care groups, virtual gatherings, webinars, workshops, live-hosted events, community discussions, and occasional in-person women’s retreats. These spaces are created to provide biblical encouragement, mentorship, prayer, community support, and meaningful discussion among women.

We desire for everything connected to these spaces to be handled with wisdom, peace, and order. “Let all be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).

By participating in any Set Apart Sisters care group, gathering, event, webinar, retreat, discussion, livestream, or related activity, you agree to this Care Groups & Events Participation Policy.

1. Purpose of Care Groups

  • Care groups are designed to provide a safe, faith-centered space for women to discuss life topics, encourage one another, pray, and share biblical wisdom.
  • Topics may include caregiving, spiritual growth, family life, singleness, marriage-related challenges, grief, burnout, encouragement, personal testimony, and other areas of life where women may need support.
  • Care groups are intended for mentorship, sisterly encouragement, spiritual support, and community discussion.
  • Care groups are not intended to diagnose, treat, counsel, or professionally manage any mental health, medical, legal, or crisis situation.
  • “Bear one another’s burdens, and so complete the Torah of Messiah” (Galatians 6:2).

2. Not Professional Counseling or Therapy

  • Set Apart Sisters care groups are not therapy, professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, crisis intervention, or mental health treatment.
  • Participation in a care group does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, chaplain-client, doctor-patient, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship.
  • Any biblical encouragement, pastoral-style support, mentorship, testimony, or practical advice shared during a care group is offered for general encouragement and discussion only.
  • Participants are responsible for prayerfully considering what is shared and making their own decisions.
  • If you need professional care, please seek help from a qualified provider licensed or authorized in your area. “Where there is no guidance, the people fall; but in a great counsellor there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).

3. Licensed, Certified, Ordained or Credentialed Participants

  • From time to time, licensed, certified, ordained, trained, or credentialed individuals may participate in Set Apart Sisters spaces.
  • Their presence does not automatically mean they are serving as your personal therapist, counselor, chaplain, medical provider, legal advisor, or crisis responder.
  • Unless clearly stated in writing, such individuals are participating as part of the community or as invited contributors, not as a substitute for individualized professional care.
  • Any professional license, certification, ordination, credential, or training they hold may be limited by state, jurisdiction, governing body, agency, organization, role, or scope of practice.
  • Participants should not assume that a licensed, certified, ordained, or credentialed person is able to provide professional services to them through Set Apart Sisters.
  • “Provide what is right, not only in the sight of Yahuah, but also in the sight of men” (2 Corinthians 8:21).

4. Personal Responsibility & Participation at Your Own Risk

  • Participation in care groups, events, gatherings, webinars, retreats, and community spaces is voluntary.
  • Participants engage at their own discretion and risk.
  • Set Apart Sisters does not guarantee any specific outcome, result, healing, solution, or personal change from participation.
  • Each participant is responsible for her own choices, actions, decisions, relationships, health, safety, and well-being.
  • Participants should not delay or avoid professional help because of something shared in a Set Apart Sisters space.
  • “Each one shall bear his own burden” (Galatians 6:5).

5. Crisis, Emergency & Safety Situations

  • Set Apart Sisters is not a crisis response service.
  • Care groups and events are not appropriate for emergencies, active abuse situations, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, threats of harm, severe mental health crises, medical emergencies, or situations requiring immediate intervention.
  • If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services right away.
  • If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a qualified crisis hotline, local emergency service, licensed provider, or trusted local support resource in your area.
  • Set Apart Sisters may take action if we become aware of a serious safety concern, including contacting appropriate services or removing a participant from a group or event when necessary.
  • “A clever one foresees evil, and hides himself” (Proverbs 22:3).

6. Privacy, Confidentiality & Group Sharing

  • We ask all participants to treat personal stories, prayer requests, and sensitive discussions with care and respect.
  • Participants should not share, repost, screenshot, record, publish, or repeat another participant’s personal information without permission.
  • Because care groups and events involve other participants, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
  • Participants should use wisdom when deciding what to share in any group, virtual, public, or in-person setting.
  • Set Apart Sisters may remove or restrict participants who violate privacy expectations or misuse another person’s personal information.
  • “A talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy conceals a matter” (Proverbs 11:13).

7. Virtual Events, Webinars & Public Broadcasts

  • Set Apart Sisters may host webinars, workshops, interviews, live-hosted events, and virtual gatherings that are open to the public.
  • Some public events may be livestreamed, recorded, replayed, published online, shared through Yahudah Living platforms, or aired on All Praises Radio.
  • Participants should review the event description to understand whether an event is private, community-only, public, recorded, livestreamed, or broadcast.
  • By attending or participating in a public event, you understand that your name, voice, image, chat comments, questions, or participation may be visible or included depending on the format of the event.
  • Do not share sensitive personal details during public events, livestreams, chats, or broadcasts unless you are comfortable with that information being seen or heard by others.
  • Webinar presenters, panelists, guest speakers, and contributors may be subject to additional presenter or panelist expectations provided by the hosting platform. For Yahudah Living webinars, presenters and panelists should review the Yahudah Living Panelist Info Guide before participating.

8. In-Person Events & Retreats

  • Set Apart Sisters may occasionally host or participate in in-person women’s retreats, gatherings, workshops, or events.
  • Participation in any in-person event is voluntary and at the participant’s own discretion and risk.
  • Participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging, transportation, medical needs, personal belongings, safety, and conduct unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific event.
  • Participants are expected to follow event instructions, venue rules, safety guidelines, and community conduct expectations.
  • Set Apart Sisters may remove or refuse participation to anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or contrary to the purpose of the gathering.

9. Recording, Replay & Media Use

  • Some events may be recorded, photographed, livestreamed, replayed, published, or broadcast.
  • Public webinars, interviews, workshops, and live-hosted events may be shared online or aired through related platforms such as Yahudah Living or All Praises Radio.
  • Private care groups will not be intentionally treated the same as public webinars or broadcasts unless clearly stated.
  • Participants should not record, screenshot, publish, or share private care group meetings or private discussions without permission.
  • Event-specific media terms may be provided when applicable.

10. Community Conduct

  • Participants are expected to engage with kindness, wisdom, patience, and respect.
  • Participants should not dominate discussions, pressure others, shame others, or give forceful advice.
  • Participants should not diagnose, label, counsel, or attempt to manage another person’s life, marriage, health, mental health, or family situation.
  • Participants should avoid sharing graphic details, unsafe advice, or personal information that may not be appropriate for a group setting.
  • For broader conduct expectations, please see our Community Guidelines.
  • “Let your word always be with favour, seasoned with salt” (Colossians 4:6).

11. Changes, Cancellations & Access

  • Set Apart Sisters may change, postpone, cancel, pause, or discontinue any care group, event, gathering, webinar, or retreat at any time.
  • Participation may be limited based on space, format, topic, safety, group needs, or leadership discretion.
  • Access to care groups or events may be removed or restricted if a participant violates these policies or disrupts the purpose of the space.
  • “A man’s heart plans his way, but Yahuah establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).

12. Final Acknowledgment

  • By participating in Set Apart Sisters care groups, events, webinars, retreats, or related spaces, you acknowledge that these spaces are for biblical encouragement, mentorship, discussion, prayer, and community support.
  • You understand that participation is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.
  • You understand that care groups are not professional counseling, therapy, medical care, legal advice, crisis support, or a substitute for individualized professional help.

Our desire is to provide a peaceful, encouraging, and edifying environment where women can be strengthened in their walk with Yahuah while using wisdom, personal responsibility, and care for one another. Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).
