Copyright, Creative Sharing & Embedding Policy

At Set Apart Sisters, we operate in the spirit of sharing, edification, encouragement, and integrity. We desire to honor both the Creator and the creative work of others. Our aim is to amplify voices, not exploit them, and to highlight valuable resources in a way that honors both the creator and the Creator.

We do not knowingly engage in copyright infringement. We believe in upholding the laws, statutes, and commandments of the Most High, as well as respecting the laws of the land (Romans 13:1-7; 1 Peter 2:13-17; Titus 3:1; Matthew 22:21; 1 Timothy 2:1-2; Jeremiah 29:7).

1. How We Share Content

Set Apart Sisters may share, reference, quote, summarize, embed, or comment on publicly available content from across the internet.
This may include content from websites, blogs, YouTube, social media platforms, podcasts, music platforms, and other publicly accessible sources.
We seek to share content in good faith for purposes such as encouragement, education, commentary, discussion, news or resource sharing, community edification, and highlighting helpful work created by others.
We strive to credit creators and link back to the original source whenever possible.

2. Commentary, Curation & Fair Use

Some content may be shared, quoted, referenced, embedded, or discussed under principles such as fair use.
This may include purposes such as commentary, criticism, education, news reporting, resource sharing, and community discussion.
Our posts are often written from our perspective to explain why a resource may be helpful, meaningful, or edifying for women walking the Set-Apart path.
Fair use is not the same as ownership, permission, or endorsement. We aim to use content responsibly, in context, and with proper credit wherever possible.
“You do not steal” (Exodus 20:15) guides our desire to handle the work of others with care and integrity.

3. No Endorsement or Partnership Implied

The presence of any person’s, creator’s, ministry’s, organization’s, or party’s content on this website does not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or full alignment.
Being featured on Set Apart Sisters does not mean the creator endorses Set Apart Sisters, its affiliated platforms, or every belief expressed on this website.
We may feature content because we believe a specific article, video, song, teaching, testimony, resource, or idea may be helpful to our audience.
This does not mean we agree with everything a person has ever said, taught, written, published, or promoted.

4. How We Credit Creators

When featuring content created by others, we aim to credit the source or creator whenever known.
We aim to link back to the original platform when possible.
Credit may include naming the creator, ministry, author, channel, website, or organization.
Credit may also include linking to the original article, video, social media post, podcast, song, or resource.
If you know the original source of any content we have shared, please contact us so we can review and update the credit if appropriate.

5. Embedded Content from YouTube, Social Media & Other Platforms

Set Apart Sisters may embed publicly available content from third-party platforms such as YouTube, SoundCloud, podcast platforms, social media websites, and other services that provide public embed tools.
When we embed content, the content remains hosted on the original platform.
We do not claim ownership of embedded videos, audio, posts, or other materials created by others.
When we share and embed your YouTube video, it may increase your views each time someone visits the post.
Embedding may also introduce new people to your channel or platform.
We are only able to embed a YouTube video when the video settings allow embedding on other websites.
To prevent your video from being embedded, it is the creator’s responsibility to adjust the YouTube video settings accordingly.

6. How Creators Can Control Sharing & Embedding

If you do not want your content embedded, shared, or re-shared by other websites, we encourage you to review the settings on the platform where your content is hosted.
Depending on the platform, you may be able to disable embedding, set content to private or unlisted, limit who can view or share your content, turn off public sharing options, or update your copyright and usage instructions.
Set Apart Sisters can only embed or share certain third-party content when the original platform allows it to be publicly accessed, linked, or embedded.

7. Creator Courtesy Accounts & Comment Notifications

As a courtesy, we may notify creators when their content is featured.
At times, we may provide a free website author account so the creator can preview or request revisions to what is written about their featured content.
This may also allow the creator to receive comment notifications related to their content on our website.
We have set this up by design as a way to offer encouragement and allow creators to see how their work is blessing others.
We are not required to provide notification, create an account, or send comment updates in every case. These courtesies are offered as time allows.

8. Requests to Remove or Correct Content

If you are a content owner and believe your work has been shared inappropriately, please contact us so we can review and address your concerns.
Please include your name, contact information, a link to the content on Set Apart Sisters, a link to the original content if available, and a brief explanation of your concern.
Please let us know whether you are requesting correction, updated credit, revised wording, removal of an embed, or removal of the content from our website.
We will review reasonable requests in good faith and make changes as appropriate.
“As far as it depends on you, live in peace with all men” (Romans 12:18).

9. Reprinting, Reposting or Reusing Our Content

Unless otherwise stated, original written content published by Set Apart Sisters may not be copied, republished, sold, modified, or redistributed in full without permission.
You may share links to our articles, resources, and pages.
You may quote brief excerpts for purposes such as discussion, commentary, teaching, or review, provided that proper credit is given and a link back to the original Set Apart Sisters page is included when possible.
Please do not copy and paste full articles, downloadable resources, graphics, workbooks, printable materials, or other original Set Apart Sisters content onto another website, social media page, group, course, product, or publication without written permission.
If you would like permission to reprint, repost, translate, distribute, or adapt any Set Apart Sisters content, please contact us first.

10. Downloadable Resources, Printables & Digital Products

Set Apart Sisters may provide free or paid downloadable resources, including printables, worksheets, guides, ebooks, study materials, graphics, and other digital products.
Unless otherwise stated, these resources are for personal use, family use, or approved ministry/community use only.
They may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to other websites, included in paid products, or presented as your own work.
If a specific resource includes its own usage terms, those terms will apply to that resource.

11. Good Faith, Peace & Resolution

We desire to handle all copyright, embedding, and content-sharing concerns with peace, wisdom, fairness, and respect.
Our goal is to uplift, not exploit; to encourage, not misrepresent; and to honor both the creator and the Creator.
In nearly every case to date, creators have found our sharing to be a mutual blessing and have appreciated the free promotion of their content.
We understand that not every creator may wish to be featured, and we are willing to review concerns when they are brought to us respectfully.
