Founder of Set Apart Sisters, Yahudah Living, and All Praises Radio
Shalom, I’m Sister June — a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, professional website developer, encourager, and sister in the Body of Yahusha.
I created Set Apart Sisters out of a deep desire to encourage women walking with Yahuah and to provide a warm, Scripture-rooted space where sisters can grow, share, learn, and be strengthened together.
My heart is to help women feel seen, supported, and equipped as they navigate the joys and challenges of the Set-Apart walk. Through articles, resources, webinars, community discussions, care groups, and women-centered gatherings, I desire to create spaces where sisters can be encouraged in truth, love, wisdom, and obedience to Yahuah.
My Heart for Set Apart Sisters
Set Apart Sisters began in 2019 as sistersinyah.com, a small online space created to connect and encourage women devoted to Yahuah. In 2023, it became setapartsisters.com, reflecting a broader vision to serve women walking the Set-Apart path through resources, sisterhood, teaching, encouragement, and community.
I believe women need safe, faithful, and edifying spaces where we can talk honestly, grow spiritually, ask questions, share testimonies, and encourage one another without shame, pressure, or confusion.
My prayer is that Set Apart Sisters becomes a place where women are gently reminded that they are not alone — and that Yahuah is still teaching, refining, comforting, and strengthening His daughters.
A Little About My Walk
I have known and loved the Most High since I was a little girl. My life, like many others, has not been without pain, stretching, family challenges, and seasons of difficulty. But through it all, Yahuah has done a beautiful and transforming work in me.
He has given me joy, mercy, compassion, and a deep desire to encourage others. I am soft-spoken by nature, introverted, and sometimes shy — but I often say I have a quiet voice and a loud heart. Yahuah continues to stretch me, helping me open up, share my gifts, and serve more boldly.
Some of the spiritual gifts I strongly identify with are encouragement, mercy, administration, and helps. I love seeing people strengthened, supported, organized, connected, and reminded that their Yah-assigned purpose matters.
I am still learning, still growing, and still being stretched by Yahuah — but I am grateful for every opportunity to use what He has placed in me to serve, encourage, and build up others.
My Background
As an Army brat who attended school overseas, I played the clarinet in high school and learned to program in BASIC. I later attended Bible college for six years and served as Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper. Writing has always been close to my heart. I love to read, but I especially love to write, and over the years I have been blessed to receive writing awards and opportunities to use words to encourage, teach, and uplift others.
Professionally, I have spent many years in web development, technology, digital publishing, online community building, and creative project management. Website development has been my primary career for more than 20 years, and I have used those gifts to support ministries, businesses, families, and faith-centered communities.
I also worked in legal technology support, assisting lawyers, attorneys, legal secretaries, and law firms around the world. I later served as a service desk supervisor, where administration, problem-solving, and helping people came together in a very practical way.
I have also enjoyed using music, media, and creative technology in many different ways over the years. I have had the joy of singing in a background choir for the late and great Dr. Ron Kenoly, and during my college years, I was also part of the Sounds of Blackness.
Today, I use these experiences to support ministries, families, business owners, creatives, and communities through websites, training, digital platforms, radio, publishing, and resource development.
My Broader Work
In addition to Set Apart Sisters, I founded Yahudah Living, a resource and community platform created to connect people in the Set-Apart walk with articles, events, interviews, resources, and helpful information.
I also operate All Praises Radio, a 24/7 praise and worship radio station created to uplift the Name of Yahuah and share music, encouragement, interviews, and faith-centered programming with listeners around the world.
I love teaching technology and helping others become more confident with digital tools. Through projects like June’s Master Class, June Tutorial TV, and Code of Praise, I help women of faith, business owners, and digital creatives learn how to use technology with greater confidence and purpose.
I am also building Set Apart Electives, a growing vision to help bring meaningful elective-style learning opportunities to homeschooling families and children. Set Apart Electives also sponsors Day of Joy in affiliation with Yahuah Youth.
Faith, Family & Home
I am married to Brother Rod, and together we have three sons. We are now in our empty nest season and are also proud grandparents. We also have an American Akita named Judah, who still keeps plenty of life and personality in our home.
My husband serves as an elder, and I serve as the administrator for our assembly. I do not take lightly the importance of serving with order, love, humility, and care.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, administrator, and woman who loves Yahuah, I understand the importance of creating resources that speak to real life, real families, real struggles, and real spiritual growth.

- I enjoy professional voiceover work, and my son does voiceovers too.

- I love to play Mrs. Pac-Man.
- I have grown to love pistachios.
- I enjoy making meals from scratch.
- I love canning and am a blossoming gardener.
- I love being creative, whether through writing, design, radio, websites, teaching, music, or resource creation.
- I love connecting Yahuah’s people with one another and with helpful resources.
My Desire for Sisters
My desire is not to build a platform for myself. My desire is to help create spaces that uplift Yahuah, point women back to Scripture, and encourage sisters to walk faithfully in their calling.
I love Yah. I love people. I love connecting Yah’s people with resources, encouragement, and one another. My prayer is that every woman who visits Set Apart Sisters finds something that strengthens her walk, refreshes her heart, or reminds her that Yahuah is still with her.
If an article, webinar, printable, care group, radio broadcast, or simple word of encouragement helps a sister keep going, then it is worth it.
