Veil of Grace: My Journey into Abba’s Secret Place

Veil of Grace: My Journey into Abba’s Secret Place

Contributed by Elexus

For years, I have prayed and asked The Most High Yahuah to reveal and guide me into The Secret Place. Truthfully, I did not know what to expect. I often thought, “It will be a beautiful experience when Yahuah brings me that knowledge.” But HIS Secret Place—there is nothing to describe it until you have been there and experienced it yourself, at least in my personal experience.

I pray this message blesses you and gives you a glimpse of the beauty of The Secret Place. Abba continues to teach and reveal more about this one-of-a-kind experience. I seek to be a vessel in Spirit and in Truth for Yahuah, to return the talents HE has placed in me. The more I am there, the more HE reveals. I know He is faithful to reveal things to me in His perfect timing (Jeremiah 33:3; John 14:26).

Before bringing you into my journey, two verses come to mind: “Draw near to Aluhym, and he will draw near to you…” (James 4:8) and “Ask of Al, and he will fulfill your request, you [search], and you will find. Knock on the door, and it will be opened to you. For every man who asks, receives, and he who searches, finds, and he who knocks will enter.” (Matthew 7:7-8)

It’s not the covering itself, but the outward act of putting it on and physically seeing it on myself that profoundly affects me. Tears of joy and awe for who He is overwhelm me, and I am undone before Abba Yah. It is not the cover itself, but the act brings a deeper and even more intimate understanding of its representation. It is beautiful! To be covered, to dwell under and inside the covering, evokes feelings of shelter, comfort, peace, joy, thankfulness, intimacy, protection, love, adoration by Yahuah, awakening, being set apart, and being set aside for great works. All these words come to mind from this simple act. Perhaps the simplicity of putting this covering on before entering the presence of The Most High makes this act so profound for me.

Honestly, when I think about it, there is no special formula or complicated process, nothing costly, but something so simple. Sisters, it is no surprise that Yahuah uses the least and most unexpected ways to show His power and might because Yahuah is almighty. He wants the glory to be known as His alone. Obedience to this act brings beauty, blessing, and security in who I am as Yahuah’s daughter, confirming and securing what HE has called me to be! However, let me be clear—it is not the act itself that brings my deliverance and all these good things I speak of.

Let us pause and think. The act had to be commanded, which means it was thought of, planned, ordained, and willed by someone greater than our ordinary thoughts. The goodness I have repeatedly experienced from this simple act reflects Yahuah’s word.

James 1:17 tells us, “Every good gift comes from above, from the light of the Father; with him, there is no change nor alteration of light and darkness.”

Abba Yahuah’s word also says in Luke 11:13, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

Yahuah tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9, “…His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways…”

In Philippians 4:8, we are told, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise—dwell on these things.”

If one point of instruction from 1 Corinthians 11:3-16 brings me all this goodness mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, then to whom be the glory, esteem, and honor? TO YAHUAH OUR FATHER, OUR DADDY OF COURSE! Tudah Rabah Yahuah! He knew, knows, and always will know all! As human beings, we respond to hands-on, physical touch to bring better understanding and greater revelation, including scripture. I believe Abba has allowed this in the head-covering aspect because HE knew the thoughts, emotions, understanding, and revelations received—these exact words I am writing now. He knows all, and we are just witnessing it play out for the first time. So sisters, approach this act by seeking, knocking, and asking at Abba’s door for a deeper understanding of Him and His word, to know Him and Messiah now and forever in spirit and truth. Be found waiting as a wise virgin, ready for Messiah Yahusha’s return! What a day that awaits those who are His and not found asleep (Mark 13:36).

The act of head covering holds something beautiful for each of us if we truly seek it. Trust in Yahuah, and the result of obedience is love for Abba (John 14:15-31). I want to be obedient to Yahuah, and when I am, I am beyond blessed—not with worldly riches or material things but with something far greater, eternal, and of non-perishing value. When I obeyed, HE used the act (as I believe HE intended) to give me understanding, a taste of what it means to dwell in HIS Secret Place!

This is answered prayer—Halleluyah!
Much ahaba,
Sister Elexus

  1. Simply beautiful!
The blessing is not necessarily in the physical act but in our desire to be obedient to YaHuWaH, though we may not fully understand.
Much shalom and ahaba to you and family Sis. Elexus, as you continue to use the gifts and talents The Most High has granted you to esteem Him.
