Headcovering

Headcovering

Many times for years, I have prayed and asked for The Most High Yahuah to reveal & guide me into The Secret Place. Truthfully, I do not know what to expect. Sure, thoughts like “I’m sure it will be a beautiful experience when Yahuah brings me that knowledge” comes to my mind. But, HIS secret place—I mean, there is nothing to describe it until you have been there and experienced it yourself… at least in my personal experience.

Still, I pray this blesses you and gives you a glimpse of the beauty of The Secret Place as Abba is still teaching me and revealing to me more and more about this one-of-a-kind experience. I seek to be a vessel in Spirit and in Truth for Yahuah, to return the talents HE has placed in me. All I can say is that the more I am there, the more HE has revealed, and I know He is faithful to reveal things to me in His perfect timing (Jeremiah 33:3; John 14:26).

Before bringing you into my journey, two verses come to mind: “Draw near to Aluhym, and he will draw near to you…” James 4:8 and Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask of Al and he will fulfill your request, you [search] and you will find. Knock on the door, and it will be opened to you. For every man who asks, receives, and he who searches, finds, and he who knocks will enter.

It’s not the covering itself, but the outward act of putting it on and physically having it and seeing it on myself… that is what really does it for me. Tears and joy of awe of who he is hit me, and I am undone before Abba Yah. It is not the cover itself, but the act brings a deeper and even more intimate understanding of the representation, of what it means, and it is beautiful! To be covered, to dwell under and inside the covering… Shelter, comfort, peace, joy, thankfulness, personal, intimate, protected, loved, adored by Yahuah, awakened, set apart, set aside for great works, vessel… all these words come to mind from this simple act. Perhaps the simplicity in putting this covering on before entering before the presence of The Most High is what makes this act so profound for me.

Honestly, when I really think about it, there is no special formula or procedure, no complicated process, nothing costly, but something so simple. Sisters, it is no surprise that Yahuah uses the least and the most unexpected ways to show his power and might because Yahuah is almighty, he wants the glory and to let it be known it was not by anything else. Obedience to this act brings beauty, blessing, and security in who I am as Yahuah’s daughter, it brings confirmation and security in what HE has called me to be! However, let me be clear and make it known, it is not the act itself that brings my deliverance and all these good things I speak of.

Let us pause and think, let’s take it back, the act was to be commanded, and to be commanded it needed to be thought of, planned, ordained, willed by someone, and something greater than beyond our ordinary thought(s). The goodness I have experienced repeatedly from this simple act brings Yahuah’s word.

James 1:17 tells us, “Every good gift comes from above, from the light of the Father; and with him, there is no change, nor alteration of light and darkness.”

Abba Yahuah’s word also says in Luke 11:13, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

Yahuah tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9 that “…His thoughts are not our thoughts and that His ways are higher than our ways…”

In Philippians 4:8, we are told, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise—dwell on these things.”

So if from one point of instruction stemming from 1 Corinthians 11:3-16 brings me all this goodness mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, then to who be the glory, esteem, and honor?… TO YAHUAH OUR FATHER, OUR DADDY OF COURSE! Tudah Rabah Yahuah! He knew, knows, and always will know all! Us as human beings, we respond to hands-on, to physical touch at times to bring a better understanding and at times greater revelation of things, including scripture. I believe Abba has allowed that in this head-covering aspect because, wouldn’t he have known the thoughts, the emotions, the understanding, and revelations received, these exact words that I am writing down right now on this paper… for he knows all, we are just watching it play out for the first time. So sisters, go into this act seeking, knocking, and asking at Abba’s door for a deeper understanding of Him and His word, to know him and messiah now and forever in spirit and truth. To be found waiting as a wise virgin, ready for Messiah Yahusha’s return! What a day that awaits us that are His, that are not found asleep (Mark 13:36).

I have found that the act of head covering has something beautiful in store for each of us if we truly seek it. To trust in Yahuah and that result in obedience is love for Abba (John 14:15-31). I want to be obedient to Yahuah, and when I am obedient, I am beyond blessed, not with worldly riches or material things but in something of far greater, eternal, of non-perishing value. When I obeyed, HE used the act (as I believe HE intended) to give me understanding, a taste of what it means to dwell in HIS secret place!

This is answered prayer—Halleluyah!
Much ahaba,
Sister Elexus!

  1. Simply beautiful!
The blessing is not necessarily in the physical act but in our desire to be obedient to YaHuWaH, though we may not fully understand.
Much shalom and ahaba to you and family Sis. Elexus, as you continue to use the gifts and talents The Most High has granted you to esteem Him.
