One Year in Yahuah: my Faith Journey

One Year in Yahuah: my Faith Journey

All praise to the Most High Yahuah my Elohim. Who continues to make a way for my good.

Todah rabah Yahuah.

On May 21th, I celebrated my one year anniversary with the Assembly of Yahuah. Praise Abba Yah! After the 3 years of searching and praying for Yahuah to lead me to a permanent Torah teaching, Yah led me here to The Assembly of Yahuah. Glory to His Qodesh name.

I knew this walk would be a tedious journey with all the backlash from my husband and family who are Christians. I knew I would lose some people because of my belief, but on that I stand on 1 Corinthians 15:57-58,

“But thanks to Elohim who gives us the overcoming through our Master Yahusha Ha’ Mashiach. Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Master, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Master.”

This entire year has been a test for me, to see if I would fail or turn back to the old ways because of the pressure. Old acquaintances are saying they’re praying for me to come out of the cult that I’m involved with. Family members are turning their back on me. Making fun of me and eating pork in front of me. But by the grace of Yahuah, I have joy and love in my heart. I’ve asked Yahuah to forgive them and open their hearts to receive Yahuah’s truth. HalleluYah.

Through all the pain and disappointments, Yahual is always with me. Like my dear Aunt Tyra used to say “disappointments are His appointments so place it on His throne of grace.”

Hebrews 4:16 says, “Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of favor, in order to receive compassion, and find favor for timely help.”

HalleluYah.

Since coming to Yahuah’s truth, my health has been attacked 6 times in the past 7 months and 7 times within the year I’ve had surgery, still Yahuah keeps me in His love. I owe all my praise to Yah and His wonderful Son, Yahusha, my intercessor. Just the anesthesia/Propofol alone that many times is not healthy for me. Praise Abba Yahuah for His tender mercies for His hand of protection around me.

HalleluYah Abba Yah!

The Assembly of Yahuah has been right there with me. I grow and appreciate all aspects of this assembly, but Tuesday night prayer gave me the hope and stamina to keep thriving in His grace. The love you all shared on the prayer call, Marco Polo, and the prayers on Shabbat with Elder Rick was just what I needed to stand still and wait on Yahuah’s touch of healing. Ephesians 6:13 says this, “Because of this, take up the complete armour of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day and having done all, to stand”.

I will continue to give Yahuah all my praise and adoration because I know where my help comes from, one of my favorite Psalms 121, “…my help comes from Yahuah, maker of the heavens and the earth.”

Praise Abba Yahuah that it was His will to save me, His will to heal me, and His will to give me His grace. HalleluYah.

Let us all praise our AbbaYahuah for His Sovereignty over our lives. May He continue to show us more of His set-apart truth.

  1. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming testimony, Sis Naomi. I love your Aunt Tyra’s wisdom: ” disappointments are His appointments so place it on His throne of grace.” Yah speed the day when we have NO more attacks on health, NO more misunderstandings with our family, NO more lonely times, NO more disappointments. Yahuah is planning that time for us and His purpose will stand.

  2. Praise Yah for your walk and diligence to continue His path He has for you beautiful Sister. You are chosen and set apart. The attacks are real but so it Yah’s Shalom that cannot be replicated. I believe many of us in some form or another have similar experiences or attacks on us. Yahushua says He didn’t come to bring peace but a sword. To turn fathers against sons and mothers against daughters. Living through this is difficult but the reward in the end is FAR greater. Praise Yah for you Shalom and faith in Him. May Yah bless you in your Walk. Love you!
