A Set Apart Sisters healing journey
There is a voice that follows some of us around. It lists what we have done. It is not always lying about the facts, and that is what makes it so hard to answer.
So we are not going to argue with it today. We are going to do something better. We are going to answer it with a bigger, truer fact, and speak that one out loud until it is the one that holds.
Before we begin
This journey rests on a foundation, and it is worth naming plainly, because everything else is built on it. This is for the sister who has already repented.
Repentance is not a feeling you have to manufacture, and it is not making a hundred things right before Yahuah will have you. It is a turn: you have stopped. You grieve what you did. You do not want to return to it. Like Dawiḏ, you have said, “Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim,” and you meant it. If that is the cry of your heart, sister, then you have repented, even on the days you are not sure you did it well enough.
And here is the ground you stand on: to the repentant heart, forgiveness is already given. Not because you earned it, but because Yahusha bought it in full on the tree. That is finished. It is not waiting on you to finish it.
So knowing this was never really the problem, was it? The problem is holding it: trying to grab hold of a forgiveness you believe is true, like a handful of water, only to feel it slip away the moment you walk back into your day.
So this journey is not about remembering. It is about receiving. About hearing the truth in your own voice until it stops feeling fleeting and starts feeling like ground under your feet.
Read aloud
Wherever you see this mark, say the words out loud. Softly is fine. Hearing your own voice speak what Yahuah says is part of how the truth takes hold. If you are somewhere you cannot speak, mouth the words.
Two kinds of fact
When that voice says “you did this thing,” the trap is to fight it or to sink under it. Both keep you staring at the accusation. There is a third way.
You let the hard thing be true, and then you answer it with something that is also true, and truer, and final: what Yahuah Himself says over you. Not instead of the fact. On top of it. Louder than it.
The voice says
“Look at what you did. That is who you are.”
but
Yahuah says
“I have blotted it out. I remember it no more.”
Both are spoken about the same woman. But they do not carry equal weight, and this is the whole point. The accusation only has the past to stand on. The truth has the blood of Yahusha to stand on. That is why it is the stronger fact: not because it is more cheerful, but because it is finished, and the finished work of the Son outranks anything you have done.
So one of them gets the final word, and you get to choose, out loud, which one you will let stand. The steps ahead give you the words.
Say it over the accusation
Here are the answers. Read each accusation once, quietly. It does not get the emphasis. Then speak the truth beneath it out loud, and tap to declare it. Take them slowly. You can come back and speak them again any day.
The accusation
You are too stained ever to be clean.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“I am made clean through the blood of Yahusha.”
1 Yoḥanan 1:7
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
Your sin is too deep, too scarlet, to wash out.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“Though my sins were like scarlet, they are made white as snow.”
Yeshayahu 1:18
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
You still have to carry what you did.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“Yahuah has laid all my crookedness upon Him. I do not carry it anymore.”
Yeshayahu 53:6
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
You stand guilty, and that is the end of it.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“There is now no condemnation for me, for I am in Messiah Yahusha.”
Romiyim 8:1
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
Someone like you could never be forgiven.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“I have been forgiven much, and so I love much.”
Luqas 7:47
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
Your sin is always in front of you.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed my sin from me.”
Tehillim 103:12
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
You have to hold all of this together yourself.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“It is not by my might, nor by my power, but by His Spirit.”
Zeḵaryah 4:6
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
If you were stronger, you would be free by now.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“Apart from Him I can do nothing, so I lean on Him for everything.”
Yoḥanan 15:5
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
The accusation
All of this pain has been for nothing.
But hear this. Speak it aloud.
“Yahuah is working all things together for my good.”
Romiyim 8:28
Tap when you have spoken it✓ Spoken over me
There is no score here. This is you, letting the truth be the loudest voice in the room.
In the moment
Three days from now, standing in your kitchen, the voice will come back. It always tries. And in that moment you will have a choice. Not a feeling, a choice.
“I have set before you life and death… therefore choose life, that you might live.”
Deḇarim 30:19
To stay in the accusation is to keep choosing the heavy thing. To speak the truth is to choose life. It will not always feel like a choice. Some days it will feel like the last thing you can manage. That is exactly the moment to say it anyway, and to ask for help doing it.
Read aloud
“In this moment, I choose life. Yahuah, help me choose life. I cannot hold this on my own, so hold it with me.”
Notice that last part. You are not gritting your teeth and doing this alone. You are inviting Him into the moment to do it through you, which takes the weight off your shoulders, where it was never meant to sit.
Whose voice is that
Here is something worth naming plainly: not every accusing thought is simply your thought. There is an adversary who is called, in Scripture, the accuser, the father of lies, and whispering condemnation is exactly his trade.
That is not meant to frighten you. It is meant to change your posture. You do not have to untangle every dark thought as though it were a fair verdict on your soul. Some of it you simply answer, the way Messiah did, with what is written.
“Put on the complete armour of Elohim, that you might be able to stand… and take the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim.”
Eph’siyim 6:11, 17
The helmet guards the mind, the very place the battle is happening for you. And the one weapon named is the Word. Every declaration you spoke a moment ago is the sword in your hand. You are not defenseless in your own kitchen. You are armed.
Make it yours
You know the accusation that comes for you most often, the one that has worn a groove. Let us build your own answer to it, in your own words, so it is ready before the moment comes.
Private to you, saved only on this device.
Not sure what to write? Any of the declarations from earlier can go here.
Read aloud
Now read only the second box out loud, three times, slowly. Let the accusation sit unanswered on the page while the truth fills the room.
For the days between
When you walk away from this page and the truth starts to feel far off again, come back here. Or better, screenshot the card below and keep it where your eyes land: the fridge, the mirror, your phone. Speak one, or speak them all.
I Am Speaking What Is True
These are yours to speak every day. Not because you feel them yet, but because they are true while you wait to feel them.
The loudest voice
You will fail some days. You will feel the weight some days. And on those days, of course you feel it. That is the tenderness of a heart that loves Him. Do not let feeling bad become one more thing to feel bad about.
“There is now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah Yahusha.”
Romiyim 8:1
Sister, you did not create a sin too big for the blood of Yahusha. There is no such thing. You repented, truly, and you are a forgiven daughter of the Most High. The grief may linger for a while, but the verdict is already settled, and it is not guilty. It is His.
Abba Yahuah, thank You that Your mercy is bigger than my memory of what I have done.
When the accuser comes, put Your Word in my mouth. Help me speak what is true out loud until it is the voice I believe.
In every hard moment, help me choose life, not in my own strength, but by Your Spirit working through me.
Thank You that I am clean, that I am not condemned, that I am Yours. In the name of Yahusha, amein.
Clear my answers and start completely fresh
